New York Times

Welcome and Getting Assistance

This guide explains how to set up account with the online New York Times through the library's campus-wide license for all current students, faculty, and staff.  It also explains some of the features that are available once you set up that account.

The New York Times comes closest to being our national newspaper and the site contains breaking news articles, all articles back to 1851, blogs, videos and interactive features.  You will be able to share content, save articles, subscribe to email newsletters and set up personalized alerts.  You just need to set up your own account.

Using the library resources and services here at Hiram College is new for most of you. You shouldn't hesitate to ask questions.  We're here to help!

Here are some ways to get assistance:

Contact Chris Schmidt, your class librarian. I  can be contacted by email (schmidtcj@hiram.edu), chat, or stop by his library office, next to the elevator in Hiram's Library.  Come on in any time for help.

Contact the Circulation Desk via phone at (330)569-5489, or in-person.
